In 2001, United States International University (USIU) and Alliant University/CSPP were joined to create a new university — Alliant International University. Alliant provides students with a choice among six California campuses: Fresno, Irvine, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, and San Francisco.
Alliant also includes a Mexico City Campus. It is distinguished by being the only university in Mexico authorized by law to offer all of its programs in English. In addition, Alliant runs innovatory programs for psychologists in Tokyo, Japan, which attracts professionals from across the US to its on-line program in psychopharmacology.
The Alliant family is composed of four schools that operate at its multiple campuses:
1) the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP);
2) the Shirley M. Hufstedler School of Education, (HSOE) and;
3) the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management (MGSM);
4) the California School of Forensic Studies (CSFS).
