AdmissionsThere are several ways to apply to Alvernia University. Students seeking admission to Alvernia may apply anytime after their junior year in high school. All candidates should submit the following: 1) complete an online or paper application; 2) the application should be accompanied by a non-refundable $25 application fee; 3) provide an official high school transcript or GED; 4) provide an official report from the testing agency of combined SAT or ACT scores; 5) present two letters of recommendation. This is only a requirement if you are applying to Alvernia's Nursing Program - provide a copy of form DD214 from military if applicable
ScholarshipsThe following scholarships are awarded to qualified first-year applicants: Presidential Scholarship, Trustees' Scholarship, Veronica Founder's Scholarship.
Financial Aid: About 99% of undergraduates receive some type of financial aid, including scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study. Each year, the University award more than $3 million in assistance.
Career ServicesThe career services office is staffed by career development professionals. It helps students and alumni in all phases of occupational exploration, career planning, and job seeking. Appointments are encouraged to assure individual assistance or support for career planning issues, but drop-in visits are also welcome. Offered services are the following: assessment testing, internships, employers.
