American International College (AIC) was chartered by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1885 with the purpose of educating international immigrants who were coming to America through New York. From this point institution's commitment to diversity, flexibility, and understanding began.
At AIC liberal arts serves as the core in all its academic offerings. The college is organized into schools of Arts, Education and Sciences; Business Administration; Health Sciences (Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy); and Continuing and Extended Studies.
Current active locations in Massachusetts: Springfield, Arlington, Buzzards Bay, Dartmouth, Marlborough, Peabody, Quincy, Saugus, Tewksbury, Worcester. International locations: London, England, Cairo, Egypt, and Dingle, Ireland.
American International College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges; the National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification; the National League for Nursing; the American Physical Therapy Association; the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education; and Business Accreditation with the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education.
AcademicsAIC provides academic programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels in more than dozen liberal arts and sciences and career-related fields. These include but are not limited to the following majors: the social sciences, the physical sciences, accounting, business administration, criminal justice, hospitality, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, sports management, and teacher education.
Financial AidThe purpose of the financial aid program is to provide access to a quality education for students who could not otherwise afford to pay the full cost of attending the college.
AIC offers generous financial aid in the form of grants, loans, and work opportunities. It also offers non-need based academic scholarships to incoming students who possess strong academic records.
