Apollo College was founded in 1976 in Phoenix, Arizona and opened a second campus (Westside) in the same city in 1995. Since that time, the college has amplified to a total of 9 campus sites located throughout the western United States. Except of the two Phoenix campuses, Apollo also has sites located in Arizona (Mesa, Tucson), Oregon (Portland), Nevada (Las Vegas), New Mexico (Albuquerque), Washington (Spokane), and Idaho (Boise).
The College offers degree and diploma programs in health care, dental, and veterinary career fields. Lately, the institution has introduce degree and certificate programs in the rapidly expanding field of information technology.

AdmissionsTo be accepted, the following criterion must be met: completion of application for enrollment
; high school diploma or GED (Degree programs)
; high school diploma or GED or pass an approved Ability to Benefit (ATB) Test (Diploma program)
; payment of an application fee
; evaluation and acceptance of the completed application by the Campus Director upon confirming that the prospective student has successfully met all academic requirements as well as personal qualifications for success in the program.
Financial Aid Apollo College is accredited by ABHES, acknowledged by the United States Government as an official National accrediting organization. Thus, its students that qualify for financial assistance can apply for all of the same federal grants and loans that they would qualify for if they applied to any chief university.
