Founded in 1930, Bryan College is named after William Jennings Bryan: statesman, orator, and renowned prosecuting attorney in the famous Scopes Evolution Trial. The basic purpose of Bryan College is to educate students to become servants of Christ to make a difference in today's world. The College is evangelical, nondenominational, and regionally accredited. Bryan College has developed and will maintain a firm biblical emphasis, both in curriculum and in principles for everyday life, based upon unequivocal acceptance of the inerrancy and authority of the Scriptures.
AdmissionTo apply to Bryan College you should:
- Complete an application for admission online;
- Send application fee of via credit card at the end of the online application, or you can send a check by mail.
- Request transcripts from high school (or college).
- Request official ACT/SAT scores be sent to Bryan College.
- Submit the application essay in the application portal.
- Submit three references in the application portal.
Financial AidThe Financial Aid Office assists students by awarding financial aid to help pay for educational expenses. It is available from federal, state, Bryan College and private resources. On the whole, there are four primary types of financial aid programs:
- Scholarships (do not have to be repaid).
- Loans (must be repaid, usually with interest).
- Grants (do not have to be repaid).
- Employment (employment earnings do not have to be repaid).
Career ServiceCareer Center is committed to working with students and alumni as they seek employment opportunities. The objectives of the Career Center are:
- to make students aware of the benefits of early career exploration;
- to provide a broad knowledge of the types of jobs available.
- to encourage personal responsibility in planning a career and exploring lifelong education and personal development;
- to proactively serve alumni seeking a career change by acting as a liaison between prospective employers;
- to develop relationships with human resource professionals, thereby providing opportunities for the prospective employers to meet students.
