California Lutheran University is dedicated to excellence at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The intimate size and beautiful location of the University create the perfect setting for lively debate, and a learning environment that values the individual. CLU offers 37 majors and 31 minors, in addition to professional preparation programs in specified fields of study. Master’s degree programs are offered in education, business administration, public policy and administration, computer science, psychology, information systems and technology, and economics.

Admission
Candidates for admission to California Lutheran University should have demonstrated success in completing a college preparatory program at the high school level. The University accepts both the ACT and the SAT. If you submit more than one SAT score, CLU uses the highest individual verbal score and the highest individual math score from all tests in our evaluations. In the same way, we use the highest subject scores from all submitted ACT score reports. Decisions are based on high school GPA in a college-prep curriculum, standardized test scores, a personal recommendation, and an essay presenting an applicant’s ability to effectively form and articulate thoughts in writing.
