AdmissionOnly students who meet the following minimum requirements will proceed to the competitive round:
- You must have completed each of the courses in the comprehensive pattern of college preparatory subject requirements with a grade of C or higher prior to high school graduation.
- You must graduate from high school.
- You must have a qualifiable index based on your high school GPA in approved college preparatory courses taken in the 10th through 12th grades and test scores. The minimum score required is also based on your California Residency.
Financial AidGrants, scholarships, loans, work-study and financing options are designed to meet the varying needs of students and their families.
There are six basic steps in the process to apply for financial aid, beginning with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA):
- Complete the FAFSA.
- Submit the FAFSA between January 1 and March 2.
- Make any necessary corrections to the Student Aid Report (SAR).
- Submit any additional documentation requested.
- Review your Financial Aid Award Notice.
- Accept/Decline your awards.
