Originally founded in 1968, Chattanooga College is still one of the leaders in first rate career education providing programs that are in demand and more significant: employable.

The main goal of this program is to build a fundamental set of skills for entry-level into the workforce as medical office employees or to improve current skills to be promoted in that area. The student will have practical experience with transcription, coding, and other interrelated courses. Another goal includes updating general education and review training. Candidates for graduation have to show minimum production based skills.

The college is accredited by ACCSCT, and authorized by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. All programs qualify for financial aid by the U.S. Department of Education.

Admissions
Programs of study are open to all applicants who have got the minimum of a high school diploma or a GED. Credentials of both secondary and post-secondary education are required. Applicants are accountable for providing the authorization college to secure transcripts.

To apply for admission, applicants should call the admissions office and arrange a personal interview - that is conducted at school. An admission examination is obligatory for all applicants. Sophisticated preparation is not compulsory for this examination, which is given with-out charge or obligation. Documents presented to the college by the applicant turn into the property of the institution and will not be given back to the applicant.

Applicants are informed of admission application acceptance status. All applicants are admitted without discrimination.
