Nowadays, DeVry runs 23 campuses in the United States and Canada. 21 of them are known as DeVry University, but two of them (in Calgary and New York) continue to function under the name of DeVry Institute of Technology.
DeVry is proud of its excellent faculty members, who've helped many students start great careers. The Institute has a "real-world" faculty with "real-world" programs. Teachers are successful professionals who use program associated with industry needs and who give students relevant insights.
Admissions
Applying to DeVry is an easy process. The applicant should first consider the Institute's minimum requirements for enrollment. An application must then be submitted together with the application payment. The application can be submitted online, mailed in, or completed with the help of an admission counselor. A secondary school transcript should be submitted as well. Then an interview with a DeVry counselor should be arranged. During the interview, subjects covering curriculum, starting dates, part-time work, and student accommodation will be discussed.
Student services The Student Affairs Department is intended to assist student transition to college life and earn their degree with the maximum possibility of success. For all or our students, their presence at DeVry marks a new stage in their life – challenges, prospects, new directions. These changes and additional responsibilities may frequently be a hard adjustment. The Student Affairs staff is accessible to listen, give advice and aid students to access the resources they require to be successful at college.
Student Life
The New York campus is conveniently situated in the former International Design Center of New York in Queens, with trouble-free access to public transport. The campus presents large classrooms, an expanded library with research and information resources, a computer laboratory with online access, a nice park area, and an educational support center. The New York campus does not supply housing; though, the Student Services Office has a relationship with off-cite hostels situated in Downtown Brooklyn and will help students search for housing.
