Lincoln Technical Institute is a pure diesel mechanics school that has been in business since 1969. With its hands-on diesel training programs students are prepared for entry-level positions in a variety of fields related to diesel mechanics. These programs will teach you the skills to diagnose, disassemble, inspect, repair and overhaul popular brands of diesel engines and equipment.

Lincoln Technical Institute offers basic and advanced training in diesel and truck technology. It offers diploma programs in Diesel Engine Drive Train (DEDT) and
Diesel Engine Drive Train Transport Refrigeration (DEDT/TR).

Its South Plainfield campus offers hands on diesel technology training programs, which prepares students to work on commercial and industrial diesel equipment.

Financial Aid
Those students who qualify may be eligible for financial aid through several programs from the United States Department of Education.
