
MCED Career College is a private, coeducational, post-secondary institution. MCED Career College goal is to continually enhance and upgrade the curriculum, materials, systems, and facilities to provide the best methods and environment for learning. MCED is sensitive to the needs of our students and the employers that hire our students. The staff of the College will guide you through your time at MCED and ensure you a great new life and career. MCED understands and helps their students relate to information technology, business, and legal and allied health/medical office fields. Besides, MCED provides specialized skills training in areas such as office automation, accounting, business administration, medical techniques and practices, legal support services, computer networking, computer troubleshooting, and word processing. MCED has developed classes that fully meet the demanding requirements for acquiring exciting new career skills. Along with providing technical instruction, MCED imparts skills that focus on office procedures, workplace etiquette, and job search techniques as part of the normal curriculum.
AdmissionYou are encouraged to visit the campus and to discuss personal goals and career plans with school's highly talented consultants, prior to enrolling in MCED. Applicants may visit on any school day, although, an appointment is encouraged to insure that one of the MCED's consultants are available to assist you.
Applicants requesting admission will be interviewed and consulted with an admission representative for the purpose of finding the proper new career for you and your interests.
there are two admission requirements:
- MCED students entering any certificate programs will need to have a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED).
- Students without a high school diploma need to take and achieve Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam. It is basic and most pass with no trouble. Some students have the option for remedial tutoring sessions. When tutoring sessions are completed then the student is given the opportunity to retest. The student will have to pass the exam before the student can be admitted.
Financial AidMCED can provide financial assistance to qualified students through different government grants and student loans. Nowadays the following programs are available:
- Federal Pell Grants;
- Federal Stafford/Direct Student Loans;
- Federal Plus Loans;
- Private Student Financing Loans.
MCED Student expenses will vary depending on factors such as type of housing, course of study, transportation and so on. Typical for students educational expenses are outlined in the "Financial Aid Application Packet" available from the MCED Financial Aid Office.
