Newport provides its students with classrooms equipped with wireless technology throughout the building that gets students an opportunity to access the Internet from anywhere on the premises. The using of laptop computers allows students to take their computers from classroom to classroom. The facility of Newport Business Institute is equipped with designated parking and an elevator that offers access to any of the three floors of the building.
Admission RequirementsIf a student desires to graduate and receive a diploma or the Associate in Specialized Business Degree, a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required for admission to all programs. No previous instruction in business subjects is required; a student just must show a demonstrated readiness for the program selected.
According to the school calendar, enrollments for diploma or Associate in Specialized Business Degree Programs are accepted for Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer quarters.
Financial AidThe Financial Aid Director works with families on an individual basis to assist them in establishing how they can use their own resources and other funds to meet educational
expenses. Payment for the student’s education is a main anxiety for any family. In order to help students and their families to pay educational expenses, Newport offers the following types of financial assistance for eligible students:

- student loans
Besides there exist several Federal Aid Programs aimed at supporting the students’ financial situation:
- Federal family education loan plan (FFELP)
- Federal Stafford loan program - subsidized/unsubsidized
