Established in 1795 as the nation’s first public university, now the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill enrolls 000 undergraduate students and 3,200 accomplished faculty members from all 50 states and more than 100 countries. Student to faculty ratio is 14:1. 

Carolina offers more than 70 majors, a full range of academic programs, and 2,700 courses, as well as 300 study-abroad programs operate in 70 countries.

Financial Aid
Carolina meets the full demonstrated need of any admitted student who applies for aid on time. Typically, financial aid is comprised of 65% grants and just 35% loans. To apply for financial aid, fill out the FAFSA and the CSS PROFILE by March 1.

University Career Services office helps people whether they are a student or recent graduate needing to choose a major, plan their career, or find an internship or job; an employer searching for talented UNC students and graduates to fill the positions; or a parent with questions about how the department can assist their son or daughter. It offers many programs and services. It invites students to look at the extensive information on the website, and it also welcomes personal visits as well as questions by telephone or email. University Career Services prides itself on its “high-tech, high-touch” model, using state-of-the-art technology to make information available and processes easy for students and employers, while providing personalized one-on-one service.
