Onondaga Community College is a college of the State University of New York (SUNY) system and one of 30 locally sponsored community colleges throughout New York State.
Onondaga Community College provides two-year degree programs that serve as transfer opportunities to baccalaureate degree programs at four-year campuses or for direct entry to the workforce. The benefit of the SUNY system is that credits are easily transferable between campuses for students who want to continue their education beyond the community college level. The College also offers certificate programs that can usually be completed in one year. Onondaga Community College strives to meet the accelerating pace of technological developments and requirements of continuing educational opportunity for all.
Community Education programs include classes for both personal enrichment and professional development. The College also offers special programs for children and teens, small businesses and school districts.

Admissions In addition to the completed application prospective students will need one of the following
: an official high school transcript showing proof of graduation from high school (applicants still in high school should send most recent transcript at time of application and a final is required when available) or an official GED score report or a copy of an official GED score report
