Admission Process
University search for students whose academic talent and commitment to excellence promise future achievement in the chosen area. The Faculty Admissions Committee selects students mainly on the basis of academic credentials, admissions interview and admissions essays. Admissions interviews are evaluated by members of the faculty; faculty members are looking for candidates with strong academic backgrounds and compelling reasons for pursuing their chosen areas of study.

Applicants should apply approximately one year prior to anticipated entry date; only completed application files will be reviewed. After required participation in a final interview applicants will be notified in writing of the decision on admission to Southern California University of Health Sciences. For each program a 250 non-refundable deposit is required upon acceptance to the SCU.

Financial Aid

SCU students have many financial assistance opportunities available in order to cover expenses on education. The policy of the Financial Aid Office is to assist students as much as possible to afford their educational process. There are three basic types of aid available: federal loans, federal work-study and scholarships.
