Founded in Louisville in 1892 by a nationally recognized business educator Enos Spencer Spencerian College specializes in business and medical areas at the main campus and medical and technical programs at the branch campus in Lexington.
College continues to adapt to employer needs in a continuous process of program and course evaluation. Students of SC can pursue a certificate, diploma, or associate degree in a variety of fields of study including Health Sciences, Business, Graphic Design and Computer Aided Design. A lot of Spencerian College classes are offered online in a format where students complete a portion of the course online and a portion on campus. Entrance and graduation requirements for distance education classes and on-campus classes are the same.
Admissions Requirements To be accepted for admission to Spencerian College, you must be a high school graduate or have a General educational Development certificate (GED). Evidence of this can be either a transcript, a copy of the diploma/GED certificate, or a signed attestation. Candidates are required to demonstrate the appropriate attitude for the chosen study area. Specialized programs have additional requirements.
