TWS was founded in 1949 by two welders who recognized a strong demand for skilled tradesman in their industry. Nearly 60 years later, Tulsa Welding School has evolved into an educational establishment that prepares students for welding and inspection careers in a multitude of welding applications and specialties. 

The main goal of TWS is to produce "World Class Welders and Welding Inspectors." University’s staff trains graduates for the skills, knowledge, and the workplace attitudes essential to enter the profession of welding. Graduates who put forth the dedication, commitment to excel, and workplace experience in their welding or inspection profession can achieve world class levels of execution .All students are the heart of Tulsa Welding School.

The university prouds of the strong partnership between the students and staff. TWS’s team provides a host of student services, including advising, housing assistance, temporary job placement, and when student graduates, the university provides extensive graduate employment assistance.

Financial Aid
Financial aid is the means by which a student pays tuition and expenses when they don’t have enough money to pay for it themselves.A quality education may be the best investment that student ever make, but university also understands that cost can be a major barrier. Therefore TWS is dedicated to offering an affordable education. 

The Financial Aid office will assist each student through the entire process and work with student to determine the appropriate plan of action. It may include financial aid for those who qualify, federal grants, federal loans, scholarships and private loans.Sometimes students also use financial aid in the form of Private loans, which come from a lender outside the government.
