Recently, West Coast College announced cooperation between BC Biomedical Ltd. and West Coast College of Health Care. West Coast College together with West Coast College offers the Medical Laboratory Assistant training programs for students from Port Moody, Vancouver, Burnaby, Pitt Meadows, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, and New Westminster.

WCC is characterized by modern course programming that offers practical training in specialized topics to give students that additional edge to progress in the exciting, fast-paced healthcare field.

WCC offers 4 diploma programs:
     - Pharmacy Technician Diploma Program;
     - Veterinary Assistant Diploma Program;
     - Veterinary Assistant Large Animal Specialty Program;
     - Medical Lab Program.

Admissions
Everybody can apply for admission to West Coast College regardless of race, creed, color, sex, age, national origin, disability, political or religious affiliations or beliefs.

Main admission requirements:
     - A pre - admission application and interview;
     - Proof of negative TB test or chest x-ray;
     - Successful completion of an English and Math assessment;
     - Grade 12, G.E.D., Mature Student Status;
     - Satisfactory completion of a Criminal Record Search.
