Studying for your college classes, follow the next steps to be successful.

Read the textbooks (buy them if you have such opportunity).
At the beginning of educational year, the student receives a list of textbooks given by professor for studying. Therefore, the learner should read them. Because, the professors do not always represent all necessary information during lectures and in the assigned lectures. Moreover, the students may take books in libraries or buy them in such a way having a chance to write in them highlighting important terms and taking notes in the margins.

Attend your classes
You should not invent various excuses such as cold, hot, early, too tired. At first, you will miss a variety of classes and receive the gap in knowledge. At second, some professors take into consideration into your attendance and count that toward your class grade.

Take notes
To simplify the educational process, the students are available through organizing a notebook dedicated to each class as well as keeping notes arranged by date and topic. Moreover, highlight or point out topics that are important or that you have questions about.

Do the assignments
Every student should either discuss questions and problems or find out what he/she needs to study while visiting his/her professor during office hours. Additionally, some American universities/colleges supply their learning community with offices that can help students study or work on their assignments.  

Study
In order to successfully study in the US, you should review the coursework outside of class. Besides, to make the preparation for US tests easier, you had to read your notes, re-read them, make flashcards, form study groups and review topics from the beginning of the semester.
