Anoka-Ramsey Community College was founded in Circle Pines, Minnesota in 1965. Today the Coon Rapids Campus is located on the banks of the Mississippi River twentymiles north of downtown Minneapolis. As for the Cambridge Campus — it is located on west Highway 95 on the Rum River in Cambridge.

ARCC is dedicated to offering strong programs. Assessment of student learning is a critical part of the strategy to maintain and improve programs at the college. Distinctive two-year programs may put student in a career or offer transfer to a four-year institution. Programs include art, biomedical technology, business, environmental science, geographic information systems, music, nursing and pre-engineering.

AdmissionsFor all student applicants, the Fall application deadline is the 1st of August. SAT and ACT score reports are very important, so first-time students will want to check on the specific dates with the university. Further, it is also very important to submit financial aid applications as quickly as possible, make sure to check with the university about the specific date for this year.
Financial AidMost of the financial aid programs require that students complete the annual FAFSA in order for the Financial Aid Office to determine if they are eligible. Some programs will require additional applications. Besides, most programs require that students remain enrolled for at least six credits, maintain satisfactory academic progress and be pursuing an aid-eligible major.
