Argosy University was formed in September 2001 by the merging of three separate academic institutions: the American School of Professional Psychology, the University of Sarasota, and the Medical Institute of Minnesota.
Today Argosy University constitutes four colleges within 19 campus locations across the U.S., and also offers degree programs online through its Chicago campus. All of the degree programs available through Argosy's campuses are developed to augment the knowledge, ethical values, and interpersonal skills of professional practice and to foster values of social responsibility.
Argosy University is dedicated to providing a supportive learning environment and equip students with a wealth of opportunities and resources. The focus on personal development coupled with a curriculum that includes relevant, real-world skills is designed to provide students with a high quality education.
In today's increasingly competitive workplace, success not only begins with an advanced degree. It's a must.
Over 30 programs of study are offered in business, education, health sciences, and psychology and behavioral sciences.
Academic programs concentrate on the interpersonal skills vital to professional achievement, while the faculty and staff nurture students' confidence to thrive in their chosen fields.
AdmissionsThe college admissions process can be daunting and confusing. To make the admissions procedure as easy as possible, the university suggests students have an assistant director of admissions help them through the process by telephone. After receiving the applicant's release form, Argosy requests and pays for the applicants college transcripts.
