As a learning college and as a learning organization, Barton County Community College improves learning that advances not only the economic, social, and personal lives of individuals, but also their contributions to society.
The college campus is located on more than 160 acres of land. BCCC provides various degree and certificate programs in the fields of accounting, criminal justice, business management, nursing, and law among others. Additionally to the main campus, the college offers classes in the Camp Aldrich Conference Center and Fort Riley Campus
.
The Great Bend campus serves as the main campus for Barton. The campus includes eight buildings in the main section of campus with four phases of student housing, the Cougar fields, and the Midwest Utility Pipeline Training Center located on the outskirts. Learning facilities include numerous science labs as well as specially equipped labs for specific programs.
The Barton Community College Fort Riley campus provides education and training, as well as selected specialized education and training to the entire state. In addition, Bartonline, Barton's premier site for online courses, is administered from the Fort Riley campus.
AccreditationBarton County Community College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges. Also, Barton County Community College is accredited under the provisions of the Kansas Community Junior College Act of 1965 and is a member of the American Association of Community Colleges as well as the Council of North Central Junior Colleges.
