Big Bend Community College (BBCC) meets the educational requirements of a various population throughout its service district. This comprehensive two-year community college cooperates with its partners to provide a broad array of educational opportunities, such as:  1) courses and training for university and college transfer ; 2) basic skills and developmental education ; 3) occupational and technical programs ; 4) community and continuing education ; 5) support services for students; 6)pre-employment and customized training for local business and industry .

Big Bend Community College provides a great range of technical courses and licenses. It also develops customized training for industrial companies in the area. BBCC offers programs that include 21 occupational and academic transfer programs. BBCC is well-known for its commercial pilot program and has offices and classes of Central Washington University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and Heritage College on its campus. Business Development Center (BDC) is also located on BBCC's campus. The Center serves local businesses and includes free individual business advising, customized training, business start-up information,  supervisory certification and seminars for business challenges. Customized training programs are designed for employers including basic skills, supervision, computer literacy, and employment law.

To apply for admission at BBCC a student must:  1) obtain and complete an application for admission form; 2) send for official transcripts from former colleges attended; 3) submit the completed application form and a non-refundable fee of $30.00 to the Cashier’s Office.

A student who does not register for classes within one year after being admitted must repeat the admissions procedures.

Financial Aid
The Financial Aid department strives to provide an opportunity for post-secondary education by removing financial difficulties for students who do not have adequate funds to attend BBCC. The Financial Aid Office determines whether students are eligible for aid. Financial aid options include any combination of grants, work-study, and/or loans.
