Bismarck State College provides student-centered learning in the following areas: transfer courses, online classes and programs, technical programs, corporate and continuing education, and workforce training.
BSC offers the first two years of education toward a bachelor's degree in a diversity of fields. Students earn an associate in arts or an associate in science degree. Students can select from more than 35 technical programs that make them ready for entry-level placement in specific careers. Completion of these programs leads to a program certificate, program diploma or associate in applied science degree.
Bismarck State College provides students with a range of choices for out of the classroom activities. Participating in campus activities will help enhance students' time at BSC as well as help them participate in the college community.
Bismarck State College is located on a beautiful hilltop campus overlooking the Missouri River. The campus consists of nine buildings on 107 acres.
AdmissionsThere is a one-time $35 non-refundable application fee for all students applying to BSC. The following individuals do not have to pay the application fee: 1) previous student
; 2) previous applicant and have already paid an application fee to BSC; 3) active duty military persons.
Prospective students may apply online and pay your application fee by credit card, check card or electronic check, or complete a paper application and make payment by check.
AccreditationBismarck State College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The College was initially accredited in 1966.
