AdmissionYou should complete a college application for admission if any of the following statements apply to you:
- you have graduated from high school, completed your GED or the equivalent;
- you have not attended classes at BCC the last three terms, including during the summer; (There's no need to re-apply if you applied within the last year - just call the admissions office to re-activate your file.);
- you have or will apply for financial aid in order to enroll in classes;
- you plan to complete an associate degree or certificate program at BCC.
For general admission, applicants for an associate's degree program should have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate. Freshmen do not have to provide Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) results. Scholastic Aptitude Tests are not required for admission.
Financial AidThe mission of the Financial Aid Office is to help remove financial barriers to assist students in meeting the cost of attendance at BCC. The Financial Aid Office uses the standards and procedures developed by the U. S. Department of Education to estimate a fair student and family contribution and determine financial need. Financial aid awards may include grants, loans, and work.
Career ServicesStandard services, which are provided as part of career planning and professional placement assistance and are available to students, faculty and alumni include:
