Chabot College is aimed at helping its students to get an associate degree, transfer to a four-year college or university, update their job skills or find a new career, or take a class just for personal enrichment. It gives students the chance to reach their educational objectives.

The College offers more than 100 associate degree and certificate programs and thousands of classes, from astronomy to music to welding. Every student can earn a degree or certificate, upgrade his or her job skills and find a new career. New or re-entry students can choose short-term classes such as College Study Skills and Women in Transition.

Admissions
Chabot College is glad to accept any person who is a high school graduate or who is eighteen years of age or older. It does not charge an application fee. Students who are enrolled for the current term are considered continuing students and even have priority registration privileges for the registration period. After receiving your application, allow three working days for processing. When your application has been processed, you can register online using CLASS-Web with your student ID number and PIN.

Financial Aid
Students at Chabot can apply for financial aid. If you want to complete your financial aid file each year, you will need to supply all forms and documents that are requested. Every document must be completed, signed and dated. But no financial aid will be awarded or disbursed until your file is complete. The following types of financial assistance are available:
