The University offers affordable, quality academic programs with more than 200 major fields of study. It offers programs in business, biomedical research and healthcare; K-12 education; sport management, and professional programs in law, business, engineering, city management and more. Students select courses to satisfy general education requirements, they may consult with their academic advisers regarding the applicability of selected courses.
Financial AidCleveland State University provides students with financial aid to help them pay the cost of attending classes. All incoming freshman and transfer students are encouraged to apply for financial aid. CSU also provides need based grants, which are not required to be repaid. To apply for financial assistance, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

AdmissionsThose who want to study at Cleveland, must apply the year round. Admissions decisions are typically made within 24 hours of receipt of all required materials. As space is limited in certain academic programs, students are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible. Only admitted students may receive financial aid, scholarships and on-campus housing.
