Eastern New Mexico University is the largest regional comprehensive university with four-year campus in Portales, two-year campuses in Roswell and Ruidoso. It is federally designated Hispanic-serving Institution and member of Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities.

The University offers more than 60 associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees. It also offers hundreds of evening and online classes, on-site videoconference courses at Cannon Air Force Base, Clovis, Hobbs, Roswell, Ruidoso and other locations.
