Florida State University is one of the nation's elite research universities that provides unmatched opportunities for students and faculty through challenging academics, cultural discovery and community interaction.

Having 15 colleges, Florida State University offers more than 275 undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, professional and specialist degree programs, including medicine and law, covering a broad array of disciplines critical to society today. Over 2,000 graduate and professional degrees are awarded with the University.

The arts programs offer an arts education similar to leading conservatories. Other programs include physics, chemistry, political science, psychology, criminology, public administration, library science, information, human sciences, business and law.

Florida State University is a comprehensive degree granting university that offers baccalaureate degrees in 88 programs, master's degrees in 102 programs, advanced master's/specialist degrees in 19 programs, doctorates in 67 programs and two professional degrees. It also offers fully accredited programs in both law (J.D.) and medicine (M.D.).

The College of Medicine has regional campuses throughout the state in Daytona Beach, Ft. Pierce, Orlando, Pensacola, Sarasota and Tallahassee.
