Admission
For admission to the College applicants need to complete the following steps:
-    Complete an application form and return it to the Admissions and Records Office.
-    Provide, after graduation, an official high school transcript (students who graduated at least five years ago or have earned 24 college credits do not need high school transcripts on file); Non-degree seeking students must provide transcripts if the course they are taking requires a prerequisite.
-    Provide official college transcripts (non-degree seeking students with a bachelor's degree or higher may disregard this requirement); students are responsible for contacting the institutions they have attended and requesting that their transcripts be mailed directly to the KCKCC Admissions and Records Office.
-    Determine residency (Kansas law requires students to live in the state of Kansas for six consecutive months with intent to stay, to be considered a resident).
-    Complete the Required Placement Exam as adopted by the Kansas City Kansas Board of Trustees on June 12, 2001.
