Kapi’olani Community College was founded in 1946. The College is one of branches of the University of Hawaii system anchored by the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. It is home to the Culinary Institute of the Pacific and programs in business, hospitality, health, legal education and arts and sciences. Admission You are eligible to apply to KCC if you are 18 years of age or older or have earned a high school diploma or equivalency. For admission to the College you have to check application Deadlines, obtain and complete the University of Hawaii System Application Form (UHSAF), check residency status, submit UH System Application Form, Acceptance Notification and Health Requirements to the Kekaulike Information and Service Center (KISC).
Financial AidAn applicant must be a classified student seeking a degree or certificate program (approved for Title IV funding by Department of Education) at Kapiolani Community College (KCC) and generally enrolled at least half-time, 6 credits. In the case if you are Unclassified, Nurse's Aid Training, Home Care Operators, Dental Assisting (examples of programs which are not approved for Title IV funding but not limited to), you will not be eligible for financial aid.
