AdmissionThe Admissions Office strongly encourages all applicants to schedule an admissions appointment. The admissions staff can answer all your questions regarding programs of study, applying, registration, class selection, financial aid, student support services, and help with any other concerns you may have about attending Lehigh Carbon Community College.
Financial AidTo assist qualified degree-seeking students with meeting the cost of education, Lehigh Carbon Community College administers various federal, state and institutional financial aid funds. Grants, which do not require repayment, as well as loans and student employment programs, are available through the Office of Financial Aid. Financial aid is intended to supplement the financial resources of the student and the student's family.
To be eligible for financial aid, the student must:
- be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen;
- be enrolled as a matriculated student in an eligible program of study, i.e. seeking a degree/certificate;
- have a high school diploma, its equivalent, or show the ability to benefit via approved exams;
- not exceed annual or aggregate loan limits in Title IV programs;
- be registered with Selective Service if required to register;
- have a valid Social Security number;
- not be a prisoner in a state or federal facility;
- agree to use any Title IV aid received solely for educational purposes;
- not be in default on any Title IV loan or owe repayment on any Title IV grant or loan;
- maintain satisfactory academic progress.

Career ServicesCareer Services provides assistance to students and alumni in obtaining full-time, part-time, and/or seasonal employment. Staff is available to provide one-on-one assistance in developing or reviewing your resume and cover letter, job-search strategies, interviewing skill development, and internship placement. Throughout the year employers are invited to the campus and centers for recruitment events, interview days, and job fairs. The Career Services staff works with employers to develop job and internship opportunities for students and alumni.
