MCTC is the outcome of the union of two institutions: a technical college with a long history of vocational education dating back to 1914 and an open-enrollment community college founded in 1965. MCTC provides more than 60 new career programs that are taught by knowledgeable, award-winning faculty.
Students of MCTC are prepared for high demand professions or for transfer into four-year colleges. The 42 career and technical programs of the College that are offered across a broad range of disciplines, terminate with certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees. An integral part of all programs is always general education.
Online courses and programs give pliability for full time, part time and adult students.
