AdmissionThe application procedures for our university are based upon the type of educational program in which you plan to enroll. A student may be registered as undergraduate students, graduate students and online/off-campus students. Anyone with military experience must apply as a transfer student. If after applying you need to make changes to your basic information (such as phone number, address, intended major), there is no need to re-apply. All changes can be made over the phone.
Financial AidAt Minnesota State University, Mankato students are sure to receive financial aid. Financial aid may be of the following types: grants, childcare, scholarships, work-study and loans. As for the Maverick Scholarship award, it is a one-year, non-renewable scholarship. Our Maverick scholarships are awarded on an automatic grid system (see below) using a student's high school class rank and ACT score.
