Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Distance and Continuing Education (DCE) programs are suitable, flexible, and besides they embody the academic quality you expect from Missouri S&T. For more than 130 years, Missouri S&T has been teaching leaders and professionals of the world.
DCE provides its students with a variety of both credit and non-credit courses, seminars, conferences and summer programs. At Missouri University of Science and Technology, students are going to collaborate with great researchers and other gifted students to solve some of hard-hitting challenges facing our fast changing world. Whether a student choose to study science, engineering, education, business or humanities – Missouri S&T can assist him/her in achieving the career goals.
AdmissionMissouri S&T admits students who have an intense probability of succeeding at the university. Admission is selective, and is grounded on a combination of high school core curriculum, ACT and/or SAT scores, grade point average (GPA) and class rank percentile. Meeting the minimum requirements that are established for general admission, does not guarantee admission. A personal statement may be submitted but is not required. Missouri S&T appreciates well-rounded students and estimates each application individually.
Financial AidTo ask for federal financial aid programs students should fill out a current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Student Financial Assistance Office has detailed information on their website about specific federal programs, requirements, and more. Missouri S&T provides its students with a wide variety of scholarship and financial assistance programs. Scholarship programs for undergraduate students are only available to U.S. citizens and will change in amount grounded on student’s state of residency, GPA, academic record, etc.
Career ServicesThe Career Opportunities Center (COC) builds relationships between employers and the gifted students and alumni of the Missouri University of Science and Technology. The goal of the Career Opportunities Center is to teach degree seeking students and graduates in their thriving chase of professional full-time, co-op or summer employment and to build up and maintain mutually gratifying partnerships with a variety of employers.
