AdmissionThe first and main step for new students is to present an Application for Admission to the Admissions and Records Office. There are two methods of applying to Monterey Peninsula:
- online (CCCApply)
- by completing a paper application
As for CCCApply, it is a service offered on a cost-free basis to assist students and their families with plans for college. In case a student log on to CCCApply, he/she will need to create an account as in order to access the application module within CCCApply one need a username and password.
If a future student wants to complete the paper application, he/she should mention that this application can not be completed online. There are two pages to the application and both pages must be submitted. One should print the application, fill it out, and mail it. International students, international tourists, and others with temporary visas must follow different admission procedures.
Financial AidMonterey Peninsula College is ready to assist their students to pay college costs by providing the following forms of financial aids: grants, scholarships, loans, Board of Governor's Fee Waiver (BOG), Federal Work-Study. Based on the information that is provided by a student and his/her family on the FAFSA, a financial aid advisor will be able to calculate students’ financial aid. One doesn't need to be low income to qualify, but a student does have to demonstrate a need according to a Federal Formula.
