As the main campus of the Institute is located in the heart of the city of Chicago, Moody Bible Institute is devoted to offering and promoting a safe environment for their students, staff, faculty and visitors. Students who are entering this institution will be sent on every continent of the world, taking the good news of salvation to those who have never heard. Other students may become pastors serving churches in many denominations in the United States. Some of them will be home church musicians, missionaries, evangelists, child evangelism directors, choir directors, mission superintendents, Christian communications specialists, youth ministers, or one of the many other service occupations available.
AdmissionThe Institute utilizes a selective process for admission. This process gives highest consideration to applicants with the strongest recommendations, evangelistic zeal, academic credentials and highest motivation for pursuing a career in full-time Christian ministry. Candidates for admission are required to give evidence of acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior at least one year prior to enrollment, proven Christian character, and a sincere desire and willingness to pursue full-time Christian ministry.
Financial AidMoody Bible Institute is ready to provide their students with affordable education with the help of the charitable donations from friends of the Institute. Moody is dependent upon these direct donations, matching gifts, bequests, living trust agreements, etc., to fund all of its student financial aid programs, such as scholarship and grant awards.
Career ServiceThe Career Center can assist future students in understanding the vocational ministry opportunities that are available after graduation from Moody Bible Institute. The Career Center organizes and sponsors a variety of events created to help students in their transition into ministry, including job fairs, graduate school fair, etiquette dinner, and job search seminars.
