Regent University is a private coeducational interdenominational Christian university situated in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The school was founded in 1978 by the American televangelist Pat Roberson as CBN University with a mission to become a preeminent college with a faith-based doctrine. In 1990, CBN was renamed to Regent University.
Regent University is the nation's academic center for Christian thought and action, with a multitude of on-campus and online programs available worldwide. Academic standards for both graduate and undergraduate programs are high and the programs rigorous. Regent is committed to prepare capable men and women to excel not only in mind but also in spirit.
