Rogers State University is a local university, situated in northeastern part of Oklahoma, governed by the Board of Regents of the University of Oklahoma within a state system coordinated by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. The university has three full-service campuses in: Claremore, Bartlesville and Pryor.

RSU has a long proud history as a quality institution of higher education serving professional and educational needs of residents of the Claremore area, northeastern part of Oklahoma. Almost for 100 years, the institution establishment on College Hill symbolizes quality educational services.

Rogers State University was officially established as Eastern University Preparatory School in Claremore in 1909. In 2000 RSU was accredited as a four-year university enrollment and since that period became one of the Oklahoma’s fastest-growing university.

Now RSU is a progressive, dynamic university with over 4,000 students, widely known for its academic programs, high-technology learning environment and distance learning options for students (through its online program, RSU public television and other methods).

The university has the status of public four-year, residential university in the Tulsa metropolitan area. RSU offers bachelors and associate degrees (and is one of two universities in Oklahoma offering two-year and four year degrees.) RSU has a reputation for quality academic programs, distance learning options, high-technology learning environment and nurturing scholastic atmosphere.
