Texas A&M University is a research-intensive flagship university with 38,000-plus undergraduates and more than 9,000 graduate students studying in over 250 degree programs in 10 universities. All students can join any of 800 student organizations and countless activities ranging from athletics and recreation to professional and community service events.

This University is a coeducational public research university located in College Station, Texas state. The University was opened in on October 4, 1876 as the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas, the first public institution of higher education.


Texas A&M is home to the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum, that has welcomed more than a million visitors in the last 10 years, in addition to other art galleries and museums. Over 1,200 public events are hosted through the university each year, such as Broadway shows, concerts, and performances. 

The university enrolls over 48,000 students who come to the university from every state in the U.S. and from almost 130 countries all over the world. Texas A&M University offers students to get financial aid. Scholarships assist students with the cost of studing. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic criteria, but might also include financial need, campus/community activities, leadership positions and work experience.
