Established in 1887 as Troy Normal School, Troy University strives to educate and train new teachers. Since that time the University evolved into a comprehensive state university. The University provides a variety of educational programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels for a diverse student body in traditional, nontraditional and electronic forms.
