Established in 1887 as Troy Normal School, Troy University strives to educate and train new teachers. Since that time the University evolved into a comprehensive state university. The University provides a variety of educational programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels for a diverse student body in traditional, nontraditional and electronic forms.

Online Courses
An online education can offer opportunities for students to pursue their educational objectives when attending school in a traditional classroom is not practical. The university’s eCampus allows students to study when and where it is convenient for them. The programs are accredited through the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. eCampus now offers the degree programs and courses online.
