The United Tribes Technical College (UTTC) is a unique inter-Tribally controlled institution of education located on a 237-acre campus three miles south of Bismarck, North Dakota. The control of the corporation is vested in a Board of Directors comprised of ten members with the Tribal Chairperson and one other tribal member selected by the tribal Council of each Tribe. The college offers certified and degree programs which are accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. So every student has access to a quality education process.
AdmissionsThe United Tribes Technical College has an "open door" admissions policy and welcomes all applicants who want to study in this collage. Each person with a sincere interest in learning should be provided an opportunity for education process. Nevertheless, that does not ensure admittance to any particular course of study. The programs have limited enrollment and/or stringent academic, medical, and legal requirements.
All applicants must have earned a high school diploma and have a transcript or a GED and scores. Although UTTC admits persons of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, priority is reserved for members of federally recognized American Indian tribes. The main goal of the university is to provide efficient, caring and friendly services that guide prospective students into the higher education setting at this university.
Financial Aid The university assists students in finding and applying for financial resources to meet their educational costs at UTTC. When visiting on campus, the Financial Aid offices are in the Enrollment Services Department. University’s experienced team is ready to help with the process of securing the resources needed to attend UTTC and be successful in gaining a higher education.
Online ClassesUnited Tribes Technical College offers several AAS programs of study online. All students can earn a degree in the fields of Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Health Information, or Nutrition and Foodservice that are taught from a Tribal perspective.
